In the last quarter of a century, progress in Computer Science has been enormously rapid, fueling exciting and creative transformations within the field as well as applications in other fields.In Prabhat Kumar College, the Department of Computer Science set out its journey with General Course in 1998(B.Sc. General). The Honours course has been implemented in 2001 (B.Sc. Honours in Computer Science). Also, the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course was established in this college in the year 2002. A large number of ex-students of this department are working at various reputed Institutions and companies in India and abroad. The concerted effort of teaching and non-teaching staff and the cordial relationship among all concerned with the department are the secrets of the success.
