The department is located in the heart of the town with a team of highly motivated and experienced  faculty members. The department works with the objective of addressing critical challenges faced by the Industry, society and the academia. Perhaps even more important is our unceasing commitment to our students, helping them to learn, grow, develop, and achieve their goals in their pursuit to excel in their professional career.

Computer Science is an ever evolving subject and the last three decades have seen some rapid developments. Right from the inception of this course our aim has been to cater to the needs of our students to help them realize the potential of this course. Over the years we have developed a distinct style and method that bridges the theory - practice divide. Technology changes rapidly, especially in the field of computing. Our understanding is that persons who are clear and thorough about the fundamentals can adapt to rapid changes in technology relatively easily. We want the education imparted to our students to be the basis of a life time of learning.
