General course in Music (Vocal Music) was introduced in 2008. Subsequently satisfactory result and continuous demand of the students led the College to upgrade the course to Honours level in 2011. Ms. AninditaChanda, one of the students taking Music as General paper is the National Prize winner in Vocal music.
