The Mission of the Department of Economics of Prabhat Kumar College is to build up Human Capital Resources with a clear vision of global, ethical and moral values through the arrangements of high standards of quality education. We, the faculty members always try to equip our students with various intellectual and analytical tools and skills necessary for being critical thinkers in the domain of Economics so that they can be able to solve different important economic, political and social issues. Apart from the academic curriculum, students are being trained with the activities conducted by the different wings namely IIC, UBA, NSS, NCC etc. of Prabhat Kumar College to expand their career path in different domains. I hope the positive attitude of my colleagues and students and their constant support will definitely lead our department as one of the most prestigious departments in India.
