Physical Education is an integral part of the total educational process. Physical Education is a subject that not only deals with formal education but also makes a student disciplined and educated from a physical, mental and social point of view. By considering the urgent need of our society recent concept of the educational process is directed toward the all-round development of the learner. With this aim, the College laid stress on the introduction of the Physical Education Department for the students.
Department of Physical Education of Prabhat Kumar College, Contai introduce B.A General of Physical Education course in the year 2008., The department nurtures the students by following the regular CBCS pattern course curriculum to provide them a thorough knowledge of the theory and practical components with the aim that they will serve the society independently and confidently as teachers, coaches, management specialists, or any other sports professional. Department also takes care of budding and promising players in their respective fields of the game. Along with providing the sports facilities teachers also encourage and train the students for their sports-specific events.
