Year of Inception Honours – 1967 & P.G. - 2013

Commerce as a separate stream was introduced in 1964 followed by the introduction of Honours Programme in 1967. The department has been fortunate enough to enjoy the galaxy of renowned teachers who have taken it to new heights.  The department arranges for seminars from time to time and links with industry for placements.
