First of all the subject gives an opportunity to our students to know about their own physiological system. There is a fantastic relation between different organ and our daily life.
The students of this subject not only served as faculties in the subject of different Colleges and Universities but also in the departments of allied subjects like Biochemistry, Psychology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Science, Microbiology, Neuroscience, Biotechnology and Pharmacology.
The students may get opportunity in Medical Colleges (including AIIMS), NBRC, NIMHANS and also in veterinary colleges.
They may get opportunities to serve as scientists in ICMR funded national research institutes, DST (Govt. of India), CSIR, different state Government funded research institutions, Defence Research Development Organizations (DRDO), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) of the country with great repute.
The service of the physiologists has not only restricted to scientific activities but also as administrative heads, policy makers of those scientific organizations having immense contributions.
