In 2018 the Department planed several Interdepartmental Lecture to encourage interdisciplinary studies. This seminar is being conducted regularly on the initiative of Dr Nilratan Sarkar. The Department usually invites teachers from the other departments of college to present contemplative lecture on various topic. These lectures enhance inter-departmental communication and exchange among students. This series was started by the principal Dr. Amit Kumar De.
