Gender sensitization Cell

Measures taken by the institution for Gender sensitization

In Indian Philosophy, the woman is a class of excellent combination of two opposite sets of traits: one with love, tolerance and the other with strength, sacrifice and courage. We all worship Devi Durga as the incarnation of all these attributes. Actually the male-dominated society always tries to suppress woman, albeit the situation has becomes gradually better regarding gender inequality with the passage of time. Gender sensitization can be perceived as an initiative towards modification of behavioral attitude to eradicate gender inequality. Our College has approached in this direction with some major and minor activities, which lead a large number of students with a proper ‘mindset’ in favor of gender equality.
